Claims

To avoid any delay with the approval of your claim you should notify us of your claim as soon as possible but no later than 30 days after the event giving rise to the claim. You should also notify Your Finance Company that you have made or are going to make a claim.

To make a claim you must complete a claim form and provide us with all the information we require. You must send your claim form to us together with any documents or letters you have received from other people in connection with the claim.

You must assist us with your claim in any way we request. To assess your claim we will require authorisation for disclosure to us of all medical and other information which may be relevant to the claim. You are responsible for providing certificates and evidence in support of your claim at your expense. All benefits will be paid to Your Finance Company for your credit.

Making a Claim

To make a claim on this policy We will require You to complete a claim form and return it to Us immediately following a Total Loss Settlement. We may also require other documentation or Statutory Declarations from You depending on the circumstances of Your claim. We will ask for this documentation if required.

If Your completed claim form is not received by Us within 28 days of a Total Loss Settlement, We may refuse a claim or reduce the amount We pay for a claim.
